Postpartum Doula
The gold standard in culturally integrated postpartum care — recognized by 6 major insurance providers.
ADA's Postpartum Doula Certification is the only culturally integrated doula credential in the United States. Our certified doulas blend traditional Asian postpartum practices — including zuo yuezi (sitting the month) — with modern evidence-based care.
How your program fees support our mission
Asian Doula Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Certification fees directly fund the work of expanding access to professional postpartum care in underserved Asian communities — including need-based scholarships for first-generation caregivers, multilingual exam development across five languages, the free public verification registry, and curriculum that pairs evidence-based practice with traditional postpartum knowledge. Enrolling in an ADA program is both a step in your career and a contribution to the community we serve.
